The Midland County Medical Society Alliance Health Careers Scholarship

The Midland County Medical Society Alliance Health Careers Scholarship is a financial award to assist Midland County residents who wish to pursue a career in the health care field. The scholarship is based primarily on academic merit, but community service is also viewed favorably. Applicants must be residents of Midland County, must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and must intend to pursue a career in the health care field. They should be applying to, accepted into, or taking prerequisites for a health care program. Recipients may reapply for the award only once after initially receiving the scholarship. Essays for this scholarship should describe strengths, achievements, personal and career goals, and any involvement which demonstrates commitment to a health care field.

Scholarship information will be posted on the Midland Area Community Foundation website in February. Applications are due in March.
